Welcome to the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. The Academy endeavors to have a membership composed of the leading teachers, researchers and practitioners from around the world with a special interest in Restorative Dentistry. The Academy is dedicated to the ethical and scientific practice of Restorative Dentistry and is limited to 165 active members. Membership and attendance to the annual meeting is by invitation only.
Our web site contains information for restorative dentists and patients who are interested in restorative dentistry. Our Public Section contains information about the history and goals of the AARD. Our Members Only Section contains information for our members.
We conduct an annual two day meeting each February at the Drake Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Our meetings are devoted to the exchange of clinical and academic information through lectures, clinics, and the camaraderie of our members and quests from around the world.
Our Members contribute to your continuing education with our Annual Scientific Review published in the July issue of The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and our Through the Eyes of the Masters video tape series listed on the website.
